Provost Questions
Since 2021, students have been asked to estimate the number of hours they spend each week on a class. This information is now shared at the time of course registration to help students make informed decisions and better plan their schedules.
Beginning in Spring 2025, students will also be asked a few additional questions about their learning experience - specifically, the types of instruction used in the course (e.g., lectures, discussions, labs, project-based learning) and the use of various technologies, including Generative AI tools. This feedback will not be used in faculty reappointment, promotion, or tenure (RPT) decisions.
